Ampeg Amplifier Survey

Ampeg either did not keep serial number and production quantity records, or else these records were lost at some point during one of the company's several changes of ownership. In order to try to compile a database of quantities and dates of production of different models, we are turning to owners of Ampeg amplifiers to volunteer information about the amplifiers they own. In order to preserve your privacy, we are not asking for names, towns, or email addresses. This information is being used to further research for an Ampeg book project that is now underway, and should eventually provide the means to date Ampeg products by their serial numbers, which is not now possible. We appreciate your help.

We have provided space for information about four amplifiers. If you wish to submit information for more than four amps, just fill out four now, then go back to the main web page and "go around" again.

We have provided some standardized descriptions of some of the amp's cosmetics in the form for amplifier number 1. To reduce clutter, this information is not repeated for the other amps, but please continue to use it as a guide for describing your amp.
